Lone Mountain Animal Hospital
Pet of the Month: July 2010

"Muffin"
(Terrier Mix)

From Muffin's human parents:

Muffin is an active, happy-go-lucky terrier mix whom was rescued as a puppy
nearly 12 years ago. In 2007 Muffin developed diabetes so her human mom has
to help her with her insulin. She has never growled in her life, is always happy
to see everyone, loves to be petted, and her tail never stops wagging as if it will
propel her up to the sky. Despite her age, she still acts like a puppy as she loves
and plays with her toys daily. On June 6, 2010, Muffin made it into the Sunday
Comics - in MARMADUKE - in the last pane.

Staff at LMAH says she does a tap dance when she's up on the metal counter in
the exam rooms, as her feet are always in motion. Thanks, LMAH for making
Muffin a Star and Pet of the Month!

"Muffin" has been voted "Pet of the Month" for July by the doctors
and staff of Lone Mountain Animal Hospital.  Congratulations, "Muffin!"
