With
greater developments in pet nutrition and medical care, our pets are living
longer, fuller lives than years ago. With advancing age also may come many
age-related health problems. Animals can develop conditions such as diabetes,
kidney disease, heart disease, thyroid dysfunction, dental infections, and
arthritis. By early diagnosis and treatment we can more effectively maintain a
state of health, rather than wait for a pet's condition advance to a serious
problem. Often an early diagnosis can make the difference in effective treatment
and survival of some diseases.
The health care team at Lone Mountain Animal Hospital wants you to enjoy many
healthy, happy years with your animal companions. We recommend yearly senior pet
testing for any dog or cat seven years and older.
