Originally from the Boston area, Haehyun had limited exposure to pets growing up, primarily caring for fish and hermit crabs. Her love for animals developed through interactions with her aunt’s cats, which sparked her interest in veterinary medicine during her undergraduate studies.
During her academic journey, she gained valuable experience by volunteering at shelters, shadowing a family friend who was a surgeon, and working as a veterinary technician. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2020 and is set to graduate from veterinary school on May 2, 2025.
With graduation being around the corner, Haehyun is excited about completing her studies and beginning to manage cases independently.
As a first-time visitor to Las Vegas, she’s looking forward to exploring the nearby national parks. Her professional interests include surgery and exotic animal medicine.
In her free time, Haehyun enjoys painting, working out, and spending time with family and friends. She shares her home with Hershey, a chocolate-colored British Shorthair cat.
