Veterinarian
Tiffany Moore, D.V.M.
Dr. Tiffany Moore is a graduate of Ross University and a former extern of Craig Road Animal Hospital. Dr. Moore completed her clinical studies at Lousiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana right before she migrated to Las Vegas. She obtained her Associate’s in Veterinary Technology at SUNY Canton, and later graduated with a Bachelor’s in Animal Science at SUNY Cobleskill, both located in upstate New York.
Dr. Moore was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida but she grew up in Barbados. She knew from a young age that she wanted to become a veterinarian. Dr. Moore’s passion to care for animals blossomed when she was a young child. Being an only child, Dr. Moore’s companions were always four-legged and furry. Growing up, she would volunteer at the RSPCA in Barbados, and during her studies in New York, Dr. Moore volunteered at various shelters in the area. Exotics, pathology, and surgery are some of the areas that she’s interested in.
High fashion modeling and becoming a disc jockey were two of Dr. Moore’s potential career interests as an adolescent, but animal health naturally took precedence.
“I truly couldn’t envision myself investing all of my time and energy pursuing a career that was not animal-related, so I decided to go for it every step of the way. My passion for animals was and will always be the number one thing in my life.” Dr. Moore said. “When the time came to begin my academic career, I chose to pursue a technician degree first, in order to better develop my technical skills. Subsequently, I decided to obtain some large animal experience by pursuing an animal science degree.”
In her downtime, Dr. Moore enjoys listening to music, watching the “Harry Potter” series for the millionth time, cooking, dancing, and spending time with her pets. Dr. Moore shares her life with a calico cat named Nymphadora, two skinny pigs named Minerva and Petunia, and a Shih Tzu named Fleur that she adopted from Lone Mountain Animal Hospital.
