Debbie White, D.V.M.
Dr. Debbie White grew up in Hammond, Indiana, where her love of nature and animals inspired her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She attended Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, earning both her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees. Shortly after graduating, she moved to the desert Southwest and has proudly called Las Vegas home ever since.
Dr. Debbie lives with her husband and their three dogs: Boss, a Yorkie-Shih Tzu mix; Nikki, a Bouvier des Flandres; and Dutton, a Norwich Terrier.
Throughout her career, Dr. Debbie has been a trusted source of veterinary education for pet owners. She has appeared regularly as a veterinary contributor on local news programs and national radio broadcasts. From 2008 to 2020, she was known as “Dr. Debbie” on the nationally syndicated weekly program Animal Radio, where she answered questions from pet lovers across the country.
Dr. Debbie served on the Viticus Group Board of Directors from 2015 to 2023 and as the organization’s president from 2022 to 2023. She is currently a member of the Nevada State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners, where she also served as treasurer from 2020 to 2025. Her previous community involvement includes serving on the Clark County Animal Advisory Committee and volunteering with the veterinary component of the Medical Reserve Corps.
Her professional affiliations include the American Animal Hospital Association, Veterinary Hospital Managers Association, American Veterinary Medical Association, Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians, and Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians.
Dr. Debbie is proud of the exceptional team of veterinary professionals at Lone Mountain Animal Hospital, who put their hearts and souls into caring for every patient. Although much of her daily work takes place behind the scenes, she remains deeply involved in supporting the hospital, its team, and the Las Vegas community. Her professional interests include internal medicine, ultrasound, and veterinary professional wellness.
Outside of work, Dr. Debbie enjoys traveling, hiking, practicing yoga, and attending dog shows.
