Sarah (She/Her) is a Michigan native and currently attends Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine where she will graduate in May 2023. Sarah also attended Michigan State for her undergraduate degrees in Zoology and Human Biology.
Growing up, Sarah was often around the research animals at her father’s molecular biology laboratory and had considered going into either veterinary work or research but, after working in a vet clinic in high school, she decided that she wanted to pursue animal medicine. Her family always had cats when she was growing up and one of her roommates in college introduced her to reptiles and exotics. She currently has two cats, Nelson and Poe, a chameleon named Louise, and a Gecko named Echo.
Outside of school, Sarah loves hiking, reading, and watching shows and movies. She is very excited to explore the national parks around Las Vegas and has plans to visit Death Valley, Red Rock Canyon, and Valley of Fire.
