Olivia Holliman graduated with her B.S. in Animal and Veterinary Science from Tuskegee University. She fell in love with Tuskegee so much that she would go on to attend Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she will graduate in 2029. From the bustling city of Nashville, TN, she enjoys trying new foods and activities with friends, reading, painting, and playing video games.
Olivia’s love for animals began when she was just a little girl, and she received her first schnauzer puppy. From that moment, she knew she wanted to help those who cannot speak but can bring us so much joy. She currently has a bunny whom she adores by the name of ZuZu, named after one of her favorite childhood toys, ZhuZhu Pets. One of her favorite experiences with animals was a volunteer opportunity she had with wild horses and burros. She helped adopt them out to loving homes, while also being able to understand animal behavior, handling, and proper restraint.
Additionally, Olivia has a strong passion for student advocacy and introducing unique opportunities to her peers and the university. She has a strong interest in mixed animal medicine and exotics. A goal that she has while serving as the V.O.S Student Ambassador for TUCVM is to encourage as many students to step out of their comfort zone by motivating them to travel, challenge their learning, and become the best doctors possible. She is thrilled to not only be able to help students like her but also learn and grow as an individual.
