Vivian, originally from Sacramento, California, grew up surrounded by a variety of animals. Her passion for animals was nurtured through her interests in wildlife and science, ultimately solidifying her aspiration to become a veterinarian.
Vivian attended California State University, Chico, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Ecological, Evolutionary, and Organismal Biology. During her studies, she shadowed at various general practices and had the opportunity to work alongside a veterinary ophthalmologist. Additionally, Vivian volunteered at an aquarium, where she worked with a diverse array of exotic animals, including capybaras, coatimundis, sloths, iguanas, toucans, porcupines, and large snakes.
Currently, Vivian is a student at Western University of Health Sciences: College of Veterinary Medicine, with an expected graduation date in 2027.
In her spare time, she enjoys roller skating, scuba diving, yoga, paddle boarding, and reading. Vivian enjoys spending time with her crested gecko, two parakeets, and a Dachshund-Cocker Spaniel mix.
