Originally from a small town outside of New Haven, Connecticut, Jen began her academic journey in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she attended Eckerd College. She completed her undergraduate degree in Marine Biology in 2018 and remained in Florida for six years, fully immersed in coastal life and ocean-centered studies.
Her passion for animals began early, growing up with dogs, cats, and hamsters, and naturally evolved into a desire to become a marine biologist. Midway through college, while working hands-on with manatees and sea turtles, she discovered a deeper love for medicine. That experience set her on a new path. She later worked as a small animal general practice technician, then transitioned into emergency and specialty medicine, where her interest flourished and ultimately inspired her to apply to veterinary school.
She is now a veterinary student at Mississippi State University, expecting to graduate in May 2026.
This is Jen’s first time in Las Vegas, and she’s excited to explore everything the city has to offer such as, restaurants, shows, and nearby national parks. During her externship, she looks forward to gaining more surgical hands-on experience and learning to work with exotic species.
In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, spending time on the water, and hanging out with friends.
