Besides dogs and cats, we welcome furry, feathered and scaled patients at Lone Mountain Animal Hospital. Our veterinary staff is well- trained in the unique medical and surgical care for exotic species. Our patients include, but are not limited to ferrets, rabbits, sugar gliders, guinea pigs, chinchillas, pot belly pigs, birds, lizards, snakes, and even fish.
Our separate exotic patient ward is designed with the exotic pet’s special needs in mind. The quiet, low traffic environment allows housing of rabbits, small mammals, birds and reptiles away from dog and cat areas. And since many exotic species thrive on consistency, please bring your own pet’s diet and special caging requirements.
