Kaylee graduated from Boston University with a BA in Biology with a concentration in Cellular, Molecular, and Genetics and a minor in German.
She is currently attending University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine for her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in May of 2023.
She is originally from New Jersey. She always loved animals growing up but it wasn’t until she started undergrad that she realized that a career in veterinary medicine would allow her to pursue her passion for science, as well as helping animals and the people who care for them.
After graduation she is exploring the possibility of a small animal rotating internship, but she is also open to entering a practice with a great mentorship program. Overall she hopes to care for both cats and dogs, in addition to companion exotics while in practice.
In her free time she enjoys spending time outside, reading, and traveling as much as she can. She has one cat named Piper who she adopted during the pandemic, but plans on acquiring many more pets in the future!
She is excited to have the opportunity to work with the wide variety of species seen at Lone Mountain, in addition to learning a ton from the experienced doctors here!
