Lone Mountain Animal Hospital is offering an incredible opportunity for 3rd and 4th year veterinary students to explore the business side of the veterinary field. Business operations play a pivotal role in the success of any practice, and we are committed to providing students with the chance to gain in-depth knowledge and experience in this aspect.

Through our program, students will not only have the opportunity to participate in hands-on clinical experiences but also gain valuable insights into various business activities. These include financial management, marketing, human resources, and much more. Additionally, students will have the unique privilege of exploring three other prestigious veterinary hospitals in the Las Vegas area: Craig Road Animal Hospital, Aliante Animal Hospital, and Sun City Animal Hospital.

We understand the importance of a well-rounded veterinary education, which is why we offer the option to pair this business externship with a medical externship during your time with us. Lone Mountain Animal Hospital

Lone Mountain Animal Hospital is a large multi-doctor, AAHA accredited, practice located in the northwest Las Vegas Valley that provides high-quality veterinary care for dogs, cats, and exotics, with a focus on customer service. The hospital is equipped with digital radiology, digital dental radiology, ultrasound, laser surgery and therapy, an in-house laboratory, a surgical suite, special boarding created for exotics, and a paperless medical records computer system. With a dedicated and professional staff, Lone Mountain Animal Hospital also provides an excellent and supportive working environment.

We offer convenient housing for the duration of your externship, eliminating the need to worry about booking a hotel. Our housing facility provides a comfortable living environment with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, spacious living room, and dining room. Enjoy complimentary WIFI access throughout the housing, and each room, including the living room, is equipped with a smart TV offering popular streaming services like Disney+, Netflix, Hulu, and more!

In addition to housing, we also provide transportation to and from each clinic. This includes pick-up and drop-off services ensuring convenience for the externs.
