Leah was born and raised in Mississippi and currently attends Mississippi State University where she also received her undergraduate degree. She will be graduating from the College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2023.
During her studies, Leah chose to stay close to home in Mississippi to be near to her family as well as her pets. She has two cats named Lacey and Rowdy, a Pomeranian named Baby, and a Chihuahua named Paisley.
Leah knew that she wanted to be a veterinarian since she was five years old. She even has a photo of herself at career day in elementary dressed in scrubs holding a stuffed tiger. Leah loves exotic animals and looks forward to working with them at Lone Mountain Animal Hospital.
In her free time, Leah enjoys trying new restaurants and new foods, working out, and watching movies.
