Please help welcome our newest extern at Lone Mountain Animal Hospital, Noel!
Noel is originally from New York and grew up about 45 minutes outside of New York City before moving to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2008. She attended Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia for her undergraduate degree and currently attends North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina where she is in veterinary school.
Growing up, Noel’s family had several pets, including two cats and four dogs. She has always loved science and animals so, when she decided to pursue a veterinary career, she spent a summer getting experience in animal medicine and it provided even more confirmation that she wanted to be in the veterinary field. Noel currently has two guinea pigs and one hamster named Vader, Tater, and Tot, so she is excited for the opportunity to work with exotics at Lone Mountain Animal Hospital.
Outside of her studies and caring for animals, Noel enjoys working out and martial arts, which she practiced growing up and hopes to be able to invest time in again soon.
